If you are
keen to watch your weight this Christmas, or even reduce it,
then use our
Christmas
Treats Food Log
(NO, not a CHOCOLATE log!!) and you WILL start the New Year in
great shape.
Logging
what you have eaten is easy – but this food logs asks you what
you are GOING to allow yourself to eat first – so YOU are in
CONTROL, and YOU make the DECISIONS.
Print out
10 copies and fill one in for EVERY day – each day will vary
dependent on what you are doing. Remember that YOU are making
the decisions!!

And if you are after some
SERIOUS pampering and a holiday, the MC Team recommend you
check out the following sites:

If you fancy adding skiing or hiking to your exercise programme
in the New Year, then why not chill out in Verbier this winter?
You can perfect your skills on the slopes, kick-start a new keep
fit regime or take time for your life. Of particular interest
could be the
Fit for Life programme, which
includes 2 consultations with a personal trainer, massages, a
choice of exercise such as hiking, mountain biking and skiing,
and a night in a mountain retreat! Visit the site to find out
more.

And for those of you seeking serious pampering and sunshine how
about Thailand – detox and revitalise, and start the New Year
feeling fabulous! Head for the beautiful island of Koh Samui and
enjoy a retreat, a detox programme or the Wellness Sanctuary
there. Benefit from traditional Chinese medicine, holistic spa
treatments and naturopathic medicine, to name a few of the
opportunities available.
Closer to home, one of the
favourite pastimes at Christmas is to go for a walk on Boxing
Day or over the New Year!
This year the 26th December to the
2nd January sees the Festival of
Winter Walks – so if you want
to do something to work off all that Christmas Feasting, why not
join one of the many winter walks taking place all around
England, Scotland and Wales, many with experienced walk leaders?
It's a great way to resolve getting more walking in and put that
decision into action, and also to do something fun and healthy
in the fresh air with friends and/or family. Although this event
is run by the Ramblers' Association, you don't have to be a
member to take part. Go on - s t r e t c h those legs! Who
knows, you could also make some great new friends - and what a
wonderful way to end 2006 and start the New Year!

Fat and fed up? Start 2007
with a Change in Mind
If
you or anyone you know has had enough of being fat and is really
fed up about it, then please point them in the direction of the
Meaningful Change Weight loss Programme. Our 12 step programme
is delivered on a 1:1 basis over the phone.
We do not tell you what to eat or how to exercise; we merely
help you work out how important weight loss truly is for you so
that it finds its rightful place in your life, and then look at
goals, motivations, tools and techniques to help you make that
loss happen. Our programme is all about the mind and heart, not
about calories, inches, pounds and stones!
Any of our Associates will be happy to talk to you about the
Programme, or alternatively, call Head Office on 0800 19 10 100.
Have a Happy
Healthy December!
The Meaningful
Change Team
